We tried Leg Co-op on lan with our internet on and no matter who hosted we had horrible input lag via keyboard and not mouse some how. If that works, then its a better free option.Īlright my fellow commrads whom are suffering me and my bro found a solution.įirst to make sure we're on the same page. TLDR Hamachi LAN route doesn't work - buffered VPN XBOX Live route does.ĪLSO: someone put details on how to mess with settings in Hamachi and that somehow fixes the problem of LAN players not showing. No settings need to change in game (like you don't need to turn the network settings to be LAN or anything like that, leave it on XBOX LIVE). So, setup bufferedVPN, turn it on, connect to one of the US servers, then host your co-op campaign. Its nuts that basically making my host connection point for my cousin to connect to exist in "US Midwest" (one of bufferedVPN's proxy servers) was somehow faster and eliminated the input lag. I use BufferedVPN (one of the best paid VPN's that couldn't be easier to use, and it lets you torrent) and i was host of our co-op campaign with bufferedvpn turned on and my cousin no longer experienced input lag. I was in austin tx, and my cousin was in san antonio tx, and we're getting a ping between us of 68~ ms and it wouldn't list the LAN connection in game. Yeah you gotta have a ping of less than 30ms on hamachi or the game will refuse to list any LAN players.
